God’s teachings tell us to stop worrying what other people think of you. All of God’s children should rather care about what God thinks of them. Living a life of envy and thinking they are better than you are only going to destroy your self-esteem. In the end of life, when we are being judged by St. Peter, I will not be measured up according to other’s standards. I will instead be measured up according to Christ’s standards and where I stood with Him. As long as I have the approval of the Lord, anyone can think what they want of me and their beliefs and feelings of how I live my life will not matter.
God has a big heart and is very forgiving. We can have a life in which we get a lot of sin, and as long as we are truly sorry for our ways, and ask for God’s forgiveness, we can stand to be in God’s good graces. If other people make you think you are less than, you can rest easy knowing that their opinion is of no matter. We have the approval of the most loving Being in existence, so no one else can affect us.
